1. Zero Video or Audio Uploads (Local-Only Processing)
CapMagic Studio is engineered with privacy as a foundational principle. All video and audio files you select are loaded directly into your web browser's volatile memory via standard HTML5 Blob APIs. Your media is never transmitted, streamed, or uploaded to any remote server.
2. Network Activity Disclosures
Network communication from the application is strictly limited to:
- Application Bundle & Fonts: Static JavaScript, CSS, and self-hosted font binaries loaded directly from our origin server. No external font CDNs (such as Google Fonts) are used.
- AI Speech Recognition Models: When initiating transcription, the application downloads pre-trained Whisper ONNX weights from our own storage subdomain, models.capmagic.ai (Cloudflare R2). Once fetched, model files are cached in your browser's local CacheStorage for fast offline re-use. No user audio is sent with this download request.
3. Advertising & Cookies
To support free access, this website includes display advertising spaces (e.g., Google AdSense). When ads are rendered, third-party advertising networks may set cookies or web beacons to deliver relevant advertisements and analyze traffic. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or AboutAds.info .
Notice for EEA and UK Users: Third-party advertising partners will require explicit user consent via a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) prior to serving personalized advertisements or cookies.
4. Data Retention & Host Access Logs
Because we operate no backend application servers that ingest your media, our application-level media retention is zero seconds. Like virtually all static web applications, cloud hosting infrastructure (our hosting provider, Cloudflare) maintains standard ephemeral access logs (containing client IP address, timestamp, and user agent) for security and delivery monitoring in accordance with standard infrastructure data retention schedules.
You can completely wipe cached speech models and local browser storage at any time by clearing your browser cache and site data.
